ROMANZA Hotel is situated in Agios Stefanos, a resort with one of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu, renowned for its crystal, clear water and beautiful setting. Agios Stefanos is a developing village with a long, wide sand beach popular with windsurfers. The resort itself has a number of bars, taverns, restaurants and extensive nightlife. The complex consists of the main building and two independent structures, an old and a new building. In the main building you'll find a bar, reception area, lounge with satellite TV , swimming pool with indoor outdoor bar and the restaurant ROMANZA Hotel combines quietness, comfort, friendly service, natural environment and regular transportation to all areas of the island
ACCOMMODATION
A total of 31 rooms all with bathroom, telephone, small refrigerator flat TV, kettle, air condition, wifi internet and either balcony or veranda . All rooms are built on the top of the hillside, 200 meters from the sea, providing a quiet setting and breathtaking panoramic view over the beach and the small islands opposite. At the beach, in front of the hotel, you will find all kinds of water sports.
The Restaurant could accommodate approximately 100 persons and its available for bookings e.g. special events, weddings etc.
THE TRADITIONAL VILLAGE OF AVLIOTES
The village of Avliotes is located 3 Km Northeast to Agios Stefanos . It is about a small village with a population of 1600 inhabitants, built on the hillside over the bay of Agios Stefanos. Take a little time to explore the village and you will be rewarded with some of the most spectacular scenery offered from the top of the hill where the main church of "Taxiarhon" is locatesid . From there you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Diapontia Islets : Othonos (7 n.mi.), Erikoussa and Mathraki and Albania opposite. These three islands, which cover a total area of 18 sq. km., form Greece's northwest border in the Ionian. Though sparsely populated, they abound in fresh fish and aromatic grapes . Caiques from Agios Stefanos port offer day-long excursions to the Diapontia Islets : Othonos(7 n.mi.), Erikoussa and Mathraki
